Defend the weak and the fatherless: uphold the cause of the poor and oppressed. Psalm 82:3 (NIV)

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

What does Christmas mean to you?  Gifts? Decorations? Good Food? Family?

Christmas is about life; a new life born to bring life to mankind.  We celebrate a Savior born into our world Who brings forgiveness, salvation and eternal life to those who accept Him.  We all value life and many dream of living forever in eternal peace and happiness.  Jesus came to give us life abundantly; eternal life with Him.

Millions of children across our planet fight for life, daily.  They are never sure where their next meal will come from.  Many have no guarantee that there will be a next meal.  Their daily existence is one of hopeless despair.

We, who are blessed with an abundance of provisions, are commanded by Jesus to care for these hopeless children.  Just as He brought life to our world, we are to share what we have been given with those who have not.  And as we share of our possessions, we share the love of Christ.  Jesus brings hope and hope sustains through all the challenges and hardships of life.

I am grateful for those who share in our ministry to bring “hope to the hopeless”.  Our compassion for these lost and abandoned children not only blesses our lives, it brings peace to our lives.  God surely blesses those who are obedient and help others who are in need.

Child Hope Worldwide wishes you a blessed and joyful Christmas.
